Your HPV Cancer Prevention Toolkit
On November 2, 2016, the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and the Allegheny Health Network Department of Pediatrics held a continuing medical education event on the science and public health implications of HPV, and practice-based strategies to prevent certain cancers by increasing HPV vaccination rates. The event was held in partnership with the Allegheny County Health Department, the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Eye and Ear Foundation of Pittsburgh, and Pitt Public Health.
But our cancer prevention campaign didn’t stop there. JHF has created an HPV Vaccination Toolkit that providers can use to engage practice staff, parents, teens, and the broader community.
